Khadi Handwoven Fabric

Khadi or ‘khadder’ is a handspun, hand-woven natural fibre cloth usually woven from cotton, silk or wool, which are all spun into yarn on a spinning wheel called ‘charkha’. Weaving khadi is a time consuming, labour oriented process by hand. Khadi is dyed in natural dyes and is a versatile fabric, cool in summer and warm in winter.
